Internet For Condo
I have 3BB and NT in Pattaya, in terms of speed and reliability over the last 12 months they are about the same. NT is cheaper and I like their office staff for generally being happy and helpful, also their office on Pattaya Tai is not busy most of the time, lots of parking. 3BB phone / support are good. -

Must Read Bus Owner Caught Trying to Hide Illegal Gas Cylinders After Deadly Fire
Shouldn't the LTD Office be held to account for not following up on their request for the owners to present the buses for inspection? They should have had their licence revoked when they failed to appear, not after the 20 kids died. -

Must Read Bus Owner Caught Trying to Hide Illegal Gas Cylinders After Deadly Fire
Well I certainly would not enter a burning inferno, no more than I would run into the sea with a bad rip to try to save anyone. And by the way I have saved kid from drowning 4 in all. His Poor 'behavior' (spelt correctly) was running away from a situation he was unable to control, in fear or panic we will probably never know, but he did try his best, by attempting to extinguish the fire and trying to open the door. -

American Woman Flies 18 Hours to See Famous Hippo ‘Moo Deng’
Video screenshot In a remarkable example of "soft power," an American woman flew nearly 18 hours to Thailand just to see the famous hippo, ‘Moo Deng’, and even bought themed outfits. Moo Deng, the adorable baby pygmy hippo at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi, has become an internet sensation. Her rosy pink cheeks and affectionate behavior towards her caretakers have captured the hearts of people worldwide. Recently, Molly, a TikTok user from the U.S., shared her journey, showing that she traveled almost 21 hours (with 18.5 hours of flying) to meet ‘Moo Deng’. She posted, “I traveled nearly 21 hours to see Moo Eeang, but the immigration officers barely believed me! Next stop, Moo Deng!” Molly revealed that she was flying back on Friday, and her trip was specifically for this visit to see the famous hippo. Along with seeing ‘Moo Deng’, Molly went all out by purchasing Moodeng-themed t-shirts and pajamas, much to the amusement of Thai netizens, who jokingly commented they couldn’t get the merchandise in time, reported Khao Sod. Fans of Moo Deng are encouraged to buy official merchandise directly from Khao Kheow Open Zoo to support the facility and avoid counterfeit products. -- 2024-10-04 -

Pathum-Thani, first time using $$ in bank for marriage extension, questions.
Last couple of days, my TGF was trying to update my BKK Bank passbook via the machine, but repeatedly was getting errors. She got it done at the counter and they said they had said to change the book. So on my next visit I have to do that. Strange, the book is in good condition and has many blank pages. -

Cabbie chaos: Thai app rider punches cop in Bangkok (video)
I have always felt that there is comparatively very little road rage here in Thailand compared to the rest of the world where I have travelled or lived. Accidents, yes lots, but very little road rage. -

Frozen in time: British expats losing out on pensions in Thailand
"I'd struggle to get by on £86,000 p.a. in London." Then how do you feel about pensioners on app £12000 p.a. having their Winter fuel Allowance stopped by the Government that says "all pensioners, ALL pensioners will be better off under Labour"? -

Foreign couple loses 100,000 baht to Muay Thai trainer in Phuket
Yes, I always trust someone I have known for only a short time. Number 1 rule in Thailand is everything is about Money and how to get you to part ways with your money. If they were Not attempting to do something questionable they could have gone with them to the Immigration office, once all the paperwork and Visa fees are paid and Immigration has the passports for processing a portion of the money could be transferred. Lastly in any of these Agreement a clear message of what your expectations are and expect the other person to complete with the agreed fee mentioned will help clarify the objectives. The person obtaining the Visa sending a photo of their license may also help. -

Jail the owner. His buses are rolling fire bombs. Inspections of all buses needs to be done nationwide. -

Pathum-Thani, first time using $$ in bank for marriage extension, questions.
At Pathum Thani I always got bank letter first, and next day I went to the IO for the extension. No issues. Always required update bankbook on day application. Parking in front of the office 20 thb, and with the recent high water you might get some dirt on the shoes. They were always nice and fast. Never more than 45 minutes for the yearly extension. ST- 1
