And even if they did agree to give you half there are many other pitfalls to stop you getting it, especially if you bought in her home province,

You don't seem to understand how Farangs tend to fare once they go to live in the village. Some do very well, but most basically live alone, as the wife is busy with the kids, her friends, the parents, the dog, the usual horror story told by survivors.

I live in a village, and it's up to me to find a suitable bar where farangs mix, which I have done, so 3 nights a week, I am out for a couple of hours having some drinks, playing pool and socialising.

 

At the end of the day, it's up to the farang, sit home can make you go crazy, after all, who wants to be with Mrs Wife and the kids 24/7....LOL

I know who I am and I know as a male when I see something that I like, I will try it and have no regrets as I am living my life the way I should be, not the way the church wants me too or someone else who could be construed as being insecure, but hey, each to their own, judging is just another way of showing ones, jealousy, insecurity from being cheated on, or their own upbringing IMO.

The post you quote was a response to the post I quoted. I don't believe in marriage ( only got married as she insisted and I was stupid to agree ) or lifetime relationships.

I also never wanted kids so even less reason to get married.

 

I think marriage is an illusion promoted by women, who are the main winners when they fail.
