On November 1, 2023, at 7:00 PM in front of the provincial courthouse in Nakhon Phanom, Mr. Wanchai Jantaporn, the provincial governor, presided over the dtart of an operation in line with the government's policy to regulate society and combat influential figures.

The operation focuses on addressing six undesirable activities: drug abuse, human trafficking, possession and carrying of firearms, gambling, monitoring and surveilling influential figures, and entertainment establishments, reported 77kaoded.

It involves deploying law enforcement personnel from various agencies to enforce the law against influential individuals who engage in or support illegal activities, with a strong emphasis on government agencies working earnestly to execute this policy.

Governor Wanchai emphasized the government's commitment to maintaining peace, security, and the well-being of citizens in all areas.

Nakhon Phanom, a border province with significant economic and security importance, has implemented the government's policies to regulate society and combat influential figures in all districts.

The authorities have cooperated to tackle various security challenges, such as drug abuse, human trafficking, illegal firearms, gambling, and illicit labor migration.

Citizens were urged to report any illegal activities or misconduct to local authorities or the provincial justice center, emphasizing that everyone, including officials, is accountable for maintaining peace and serving the nation and its people.

The hotline 1567 is available 24/7 for immediate reporting of any issues, and local authorities are prepared to respond promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.

These kind of silly programs proclamations and declarations are intended only for the most naive amongst the population. Who else would buy something like this? All of a sudden a governor announces that they're going to go after influential figures? Is he referring to corrupt army generals? Is he referring to ministers in the current administration? How about murderous sons of billionaires?

Who exactly is he referring to, when this goon says "influential figures"? And why would the police  change course after 90 years of absolute complicity?

In the meanwhile poor elderly sick Tony get loving care in the hospital well away from the Thai Gen-Pop commoners.
Tony ain't ever gonna see Gen-Pop.

They need to seriously visit there own habit of extended two-tiered justice to 'influential figures.'

They don’t even follow these policies. How in the world do they think others will. Just a sad state of affairs.

Another day. Another parade. Another court report.

It seems to give them a feelgood sense of doing something about serious problems without actually doing something.

I'd far rather they spent all these parade times sat at their desks researching or out doing the footwork of investigating and then parading the actual 'influential figures'. But I suspect some of those are on parade here.

Nothing but smoke and mirrors.
