Saw in the news that this merger has been approved.
As a happy 3BB customer, I cannot see anything good coming of this. Even though the NBTC has put a price cap on AWN (AIS internet subsidiary) increasing prices for five years, I can’t help thinking this will create a more expensive, possibly lesser quality service.

AIS is already more expensive than 3BB.

 

Thailand does seem to love a monopoly.

AIS started with optic cables long time ago. Even spread out in the outskirts now. However they rent another net or not, I can not answer.AIS Fibre เพิ่ม Mesh WiFi จ่ายไม่แพง อัปเกรดเน็ตแรงเต็มสปีดทั้งบ้าน
