Thaksin’s Medical Expenses At Police Hospital Entirely Covered By Taxpayers’ Money

ALL EXPENSES ON MEDICAL treatments of “sickly” de facto Pheu Thai boss/convict at large Thaksin Shinawatra at Police Hospital are being entirely covered by the taxpayers’ money and not his, according to an informed source.

 

Thaksin, who has been admitted for undisclosed “illnesses” at Police Hospital since Aug.22, marking the 100th day tomorrow (Nov.30), is not paying a single baht out of his pocket for all medical expenses which have so far incurred whilst the Corrections Department attached to the Ministry of Justice is allegedly spending millions of baht in the taxpayers’ money on those expenses at Police Hospital for the VIP patient who is ironically known to have tens of billions of baht in cash and property, the informed source said.

 

The “sickly” Pheu Thai boss/convict at large remains in custody of the department, the chief of which has earlier officially endorsed his stay beyond a 60-day period at the hospital where security measures have been specifically tightened.

On the contrary, he should have shown that he's not here to use the system and mooch of his privileged past positions as a police officer and a PM, if i were him, i would offer to build a new wing to police hospital just to show his gratitude, but no, that would not good ol' Thaksin..

Except in Canada the medical condition they are treating is real and you are not taking up a bed that could be used by someone who actually needs it.

I don't like Thaksin. But I don't see a problem that medical expenses of all prisoners are paid by taxpayers.

Many of them won't have money. Should they die because they can't afford medical care?

They all should get necessary medical care.

 

And all inmates should be treated equal in that respect. If a mass murderer is a little sick, treat him like the multimillionaire convicted for corruption. And if the multimillionaire is depressed because he is in prison, treat him like the rapist who is in prison and depressed.

 

The problem for above inmate is that he is not treated like any other inmate. Because how many other inmates are transported per helicopter within hours to a hospital to receive special treatment and how many others stay permanently in such hospital for months?

 

Put Thaksin in a normal cell together with other convicted criminals. Give him a pack of pain killers and tell him to shut up. Case closed.

Well, he did postpone his homecoming claiming he was in need of a health check up. If he was so seriously ill, maybe he shouldnt've flown.

All prisoners ger Health care at the taxpayers expense. Under HIS health care plan, it would have cost the government B300 a day. But the Military government took that away.PS: He is in a police hospital.

If all prisoners have their medical bills paid by the state then this is a non story and a deliberately inflammatory article, trying to imply that he is getting special treatment. It is published to agitate public opinion and cause trouble.

SO YOU think these MPs and police are not using the system to make money. BY the way: under HIS health care plan (when he was PM) it would have cost the taxpayer B300 a day to treat those on NO or low income. The Military government abolished that. He is in a police hospital, which is government funded.
