I haven't used an METV since pre-covid and pre Evisa portal. I alway usd a Visa agency in DC to procure them for me. I just submitted an application and was surprised that it did not ask for any of the information I used to need to provide (financials, letter from employer, etc).  I am curious if this is something they will follow up with me for? Also how long does it take via the EVisa portal? I am a bit early applying to utilize the entirity of the validity but also don't really need to maximize it. I'm curious of other US Passport esperiences in regards to this.

The METV application was recently simplified. I know a UK applicant got theirs in 5 working days. Can`t say about US applicants but should not be that different.
