I didn't think a lawyer should be placed in a top appeal judge position while never being a judge or with little experience. That seems a big opening statement, if you have little knowledge and admit you “failed to research his history”.

There is certainly a ton of material from the J6 committee that DOJ can use in the trial. For example, the attorneys who told Trump that his efforts were illegal.

 

The missing piece remains the link between groups such as the Proud Boys and the White House. The PB started marching to the Capitol before Trump gave his speech. How did they know in advance there would be an attack on the Capitol?
