How long an actual 60 minute be actual massaging?

I've noticed last few weeks (as things have gotten busier), that the time keeping from some of these 'masseuses' is get a tad cheeky.

Finished a massage the other day, and i thought to myself "that was quick", but as i didn't note the time down i shrugged and walked off (honestly felt like i had only a 40 minute massage).

Today though, i went for a 60 minute massage and i felt ripped off. The lady in question only gave me a 48 minute massage as i fully checked my watch. She did take her time in bringing the bucket to clean my feet - IS THIS included in the massage timing?

My point being is the timing of the massage beginning when she touches your skin, or when you walk into the premises?

Sorry for being pedenatic, but worth keeping an eye out for lol

Would have thought the clock starts ticking the moment you lay down on the workbench.

I've found that the further away from the tourist belt, the more honest (and better) massage quality & timing is.....

Give a better tip and your problems will disappear - the next time you visit her.

Maybe those missing 12 minutes were allocated to his tip !

I always tip. But come on, how can you commence the tipping relationship when she is cutting back ?

Occasionally i get the same problem, if they finish early, like 50 mins, give no tip and tell them why and/or for a repeat massage show them the start time on your phone and say 60 mins ok? keep it friendly, just making them aware you want the 60 mins

Why don't you be strong and complain?  Good luck, let us know how that works out for you.

Neither, it begins when she first engages you, like walking into the room with you.

No, it doesn’t. It begins when the massage begins.

That is incorrect based on the government regulations regarding massage services.  See Government Document Regulations AFJ 108641.007.9154.

Perhaps shower before going for a massage?

Strange, but my 60 minute massages normally run 70 minutes, sometimes longer.

The minutes the op never got were for the ‘happy ending’ which he didn’t ask for😀

I never last 60 minutes anyway.

I don't want to be "pedanatic" (as the OP might say), but when you say "I never last", what exactly does the "last" refer to?  The massage itself or you and the happy ending?

I looked that up. It says the quality of rocket fuel shall not fall below the standard set in CRB 73522893/980.

I think 5 minutes either side of start and finish is allowable. She has to set up, and clean up after. So 50 minutes would seem fair to me.

When you leave home soon...

Nah, I think the OP refused happy ending, and that´s why it was only 48 minutes. I know, it´s only 12 minutes, but I believe all petty complainers come quick.

How long for the happy ending?

So it ends after 10 min more? Was the over time for happy ending?😁

These are the foot massages / head massages -  Not happy ending variety.

Change your massage shop.

Try to keep it in your pants a wee bit longer.🙃🙃

Foot massage - now always 60 minutes, sometimes even more.

Before Covid, I noticed they went down to 45 minutes or even less.

Pay less, a Thai friend said to me when I complained about this...

The good massage ladies i know are a minimum of 60 mins, often 5 minutes extra, no rush to finish kinda thing.

If they use the phone a bit or disappear off for whatever  i expect them to add time on

So you hire a girl on Thai friendly. You going to bonk for an hour and then she's out the door? When does the clock start? Is undressing included or not? Shower before and after? She's on the metre, same as a massage. Included in the one hour is essentials for hygiene etc. That's my take. Can't see how you can benefit from a clock watching exercise. It's supposed to relax you.

Those are the old regulations...  they were updated with: Regulation NE14ABJ  a decade ago.
