Is it just me, or is the quality of newbies getting crappier and crappier every day? I've noticed this over the last two months. Everytime I see a post that is particularly asinine, futile, misses the point completely, or generally rubbish I know that if I look to the poster's profile, it will show he has less than 30 posts.

So what's all that about then?

BTW, I reckon over the last 3 months TV has managed to attract a prime bunch of fruitloops whom I recognise immediately, being one myself.

Heres an idea for you Bendix, how about, instead of constantly complaining about the shit threads us 'newbies' start, open a couple of decent ones yourself so that we 'newbies' can contribute and maybe learn something, instead of wasting your time doing exactly what you are complaining about..................posting rubbish.

And to mr bojangles . . .not only two years birthday, but also two thousand posts. From that two thousand, I like to think 3 or 4 added to the collective wisdom of thaivisa. That's not a bad ratio.

Dunno, some members have been around for 5 or 6 years with maybe a 100 posts... a lot worth reading, others have 5,000+ of rubbish.

Try to maintain some perspective man. Today marks your 2 year anniversary at TV. Almost anywhere other than here that would still catagorize yourself as a "newbie". Jet's been here, what, 8 months?, and she's been complaining about newbies for 7 of them. Many of the more recent posters are better than some long time posters IMO.

It's a bit similar to that proverb (can't remember who by)

So for me, newbies maybe new to the School that is ThaiVisa but they can bring much to the class.

Some newbies are great, but there does seem to be an increasing number of trollish noobs. Judging by posting styles and choice of subjects, a lot of them emanating from the same rather small group of people who were banned from here a long time ago but keep coming back to stir trouble despite constant declarations elsewhere of how crap it is here.
