The debate thread.
I hope that was rhetorical.... Government has a huge impact on day to day lives of the middle class and below. Do I really need to list the areas of their lives that are highly impacted by governmental policy? Why don't you put together a list of the areas where governmental policy has little or no impact on the lives of middle class Americans? -

Trump: “There Will Be No Third Debate!”
I think there is a very good chance that Harris will pardon him to help end divisions and reunite the country. It’s most likely his best play at this point. -

Baht becoming ridiculously strong
Let's not forget, the Central Banks are major "currency traders". Depending on the situation, the may want to strenghten or weaken their "home currency". Of course, they produce their balance-sheets. But that only reflects what they were doing in the recent past. What they are doing today can only be guessed. I know only one thing. The US Democrats as well as the Republicans want the Dollar lower. -

What really grinds your gears in Pattaya
I haven't had "gears" since that one summer back in Provincetown when the coconut oil incident happened. I'm on automatic. The only grinding I do involves coffee beans.- 1

Baht becoming ridiculously strong
I think I am starting to understand. On a Saturday, shortly before closing, due to "expiration" of certain foods, prices are reduced. Also: Shortly before closing time at the bar, the remaining ladies become more friendly. I used to call this "statistics" in combination with "common sense". In the future I will call it "algorisms". -

Chulalongkorn Hospital
Contrast media are not radioactive, nor are they "nuclear isotopes". (Radioactive substances are injected for a scintigram. They are also used for a PET scan, which is a very specialized and expensive examination) -

Are you "all in" in your relationship?
For me, I would spend everything I have on my Thai wife. She is worth far more than I could ever give her. She knows to the nearest 100 baht how much money we have simply because I tell her, and she adjusts her spending to fit what we have. Where I come from it is called trust. I have known her since 1993, we have been married since 2000, and we have a 20 year old Thai son going to University in Chiang Rai.- 2

Are you "all in" in your relationship?
We're both 'all-in' .... she is totally focussed on looking after me, and has been for over 10 years, I reciprocate and look after her. I also have family responsibilities in my home country, and she accepts that too. But we also have health insurance to try and avoid financial issues.- 1

Trump: “There Will Be No Third Debate!”
Something to watch for now. He probably realizes there is a good chance he will lose now and not be able to illegally overturn the election as he tried to do before. So if that happens, he would want sympathy from President Harris for pardons. Going forward watch if he starts to personally insult Harris less than before. He can't call her dumb anymore for example.- 1
