The very first one, the guy at land office wanted my pp and I had to sign paper that I could not claim and interest in the property in the future. The most recent one from the UK guy, nothing was asked of the gf about origin of funds. For each purchase I used WISE and guess I would have just shown that if property had gone into my name. Safe enough with a body wallet under my shirt. I see Thais at the banks all the time. withdrawing bricks of 1000 baht notes. They walk out with the cash in a backpack or bag.
