As opposed to riding a whipped into submission elephant, I’d suggest visiting some of the actual humane sites that are in the Ban Huai Takrai, Mae Wang area. Popular Post jvs Posted January 7 Popular Post Share Posted January 7 A lot of places have stopped the elephant rides now. Something much better has replaced it. Now there is a better way to interact with the animal without sitting on it. You get to take it for a walk,just like a dog. A mahout will of course be with you and you are handed a bunch of bananas to feed the elephant while you are walking. A very nice experience and after you can shower the animal and feed it some more. Riding an ostrich in SA was more fun They can feel out the rider. If you seem weak they go rogue. They could also just be having a bad day. It also helps if the mahout does not have a fag.
