Where To Get Some Good Mango And Sticky Rice

Featured Replies

You heard me.

I've been getting it from the market on the corner of Canal rd. and Suthep, but the quality sucks.

Got any suggestions?

Make it yourself. It's not that hard once you have good mangos.

Only suggestion otherwise in that area: The night food area at CMU? (Called 'Faai' I think) The fruit shakes also have to be seen to be believed.

"The food-stall market opposite the north gate has very good sticky rice with mango in my opinion."

That's the place to go. THis lady's been there for yrs n yrs. YOu go outside the moat, across from Chang Puak Gate, there's along string of food carts there. As you walk out toward the end, just past some Pad Thai/ Hoy Tawt guys you will see her.

COming from Huay Kaew, go straight around the outside of the moat. Just after Wat Lok Molee (on your left, old brick jedi, black Buddha inset) you will see the string of food carts coming up. She will be among the first ones you hit as you head towards Chang Puak.
