Phang Nga – A Danish tourist has sustained injuries after she was hit by waves at a beach in Phang Nga.

The Khao Lampi Hat Thai Mueang National Park staff told the Phuket Express earlier this week that they were notified of the incident at the Tha Mao Beach in the national park area.

An unidentified 60 year-old female Danish tourist was playing in the water.

Was floored by waves! Must have been blind going into the water.

Gotta roll with the waves not sink.

I took a Thai friend to Khao Lak Beach, Phang Nga, a few months ago. She insisted on standing on a very large rock at the edge of the water for some cool photos. I pointed out that the rock was already wet and the waves were too rough to swim at the beach. I got some cool photos of her being engulfed in a huge wave and then disappearing into the whitewater. I managed to save her quickly. I don’t know how she survived with just a minor scratch and bruise.

People do stupid things.

Did she cause those waves herself, jumping her big farang body into the sea?
