Krabi – Swimmers are being warned of flame jellyfish at an island in Krabi.


A Koh Lanta National Park staffer told the Phuket Express that on Thursday (January 25th) they found many flame jellyfish (Pelagia Panopyra) near the beach at Rok Island. Red flags were placed in some areas near the beach to warn swimmers.

 

Flame jellyfish are mostly found during this time of year when they are brought up by strong waves.

I don't normally bring vinegar to the beach, but guess what other remedy I always keep on tap:laugh:

Where would you buy vinegar for use after jelly fish stings?
