The MAGA (and their sympathizers) calculus is that these aren't really crimes. They are in furtherance of their ideology of ending democracy

Do the MAGA cult understand the meaning of the word "democracy" or just see it as the name of the opposition to their messiah?

Times is behind a paywall, but clearing the money was not given to Kushner (you made that up) but invested in his firm, all legal and above board.

By the same logic, Fani Willis is not paying her boyfriend, she is paying his law firm.

You fell into that one. What's wrong with you today?

It's not Fanny's money.

Fulton County DA Fani Willis 'not forthright' about relationship, according to new filing

published February 9, 2024 9:17PMFulton County FOX 5 Atlanta

In a newly filed 122-page supplemental reply to Willis's 176-page court-ordered response to Roman's original motion, Roman claims that the romantic relationship between Willis and Wade began earlier than what was disclosed.

The court document contends, "Since Willis and Wade were not forthright about their relationship in the first instance, there is no reason to believe they are telling the truth now."

Wade claimed in an affidavit included in Willis' response that their relationship did not begin until 2022, but Roman's attorney, Ashleigh Merchant, alleges witnesses can prove it started before Wade's appointment in November 2021 and before Willis was sworn in as district attorney in January 2021.

One witness, Wade's former law partner Terrence Bradley, is cited as having non-privileged knowledge of the relationship, stating it began before Willis took office. Bradley's insights challenge Wade's claim that they didn't start dating until 2022. ...

In related developments, Sen. Bill Cowsert announced during the first meeting of the state's Senate Special Committee on Investigations that whistleblowers in the Fulton County District Attorney's Office are eager to testify.

RACIST!!!!

If it can be proven that Ms. Willis lied in her court filing, then she will be in big trouble personally.

However, it would be difficult to prove she was in a relationship with Nathan Wade prior to 2021, since they had a prior professional relationship.

If Fani Willis was counting on nobody on her staff or any of her friends testifying against her, she was stupid in filing that motion with the court.

Conversely, if someone testifies against her, their credibility will be evaluated. A single witness probably isn't enough.

This will be interesting.

Yes, only racists will testify against her.

You seem to live in your own little world.

There is no lack of racists anxious to see her fall. That does not mean that the parties in this legal issue are racists.

So, she's lying when she says it?

I would have to see her quote to react to it.

She may have said that racists wanted her removed, which is true.

She said they wanted to remove her because she was a black woman, which is a lie.

You have no evidence that racists want her removed, unless you want to claim that of the millions of people that think she should be removed, some are racists. But you could also make the same argument that there are racists that do not want her removes.

Here's her rant:

I wonder why the left does not hold her up to ridicule for worshipping the fairy in the sky?

Whistleblowers in Fulton County DA Fani Willis' office reportedly eager to testify

Published February 9, 2024 4:59PM

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The state Senate Special Committee on Investigations convened its inaugural session Friday to probe allegations of misconduct against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who has faced criticism for her intimate relationship with Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade, who was hired to lead the investigation into the Georgia 2020 election interference case.

Sen. Bill Cowsert (R-Athens) emphasized the committee's commitment to truth-seeking rather than a political witch hunt, stating, "This is not a political witch hunt; this is a quest for the truth."

As the meeting commenced, Cowsert dropped a bombshell, revealing that multiple whistleblowers within the Fulton County DA's office have expressed eagerness to testify. They allege misuse of federal and state funds, further escalating the scrutiny surrounding Willis.

Her use of the term "they" indicates she thinks there are some racists who want to see her gone. No question about that.

And there are just as many or more racists that want to see her stay. No question about that, either.
