Unemployment less than 4%, GDP up after Trump gutted it in 2020. Stock market all-time high. The border problem is caused by Republicans blocking any initiatives, on Trump instructions.

Trump doesn't have any advisers. He's a one-man band, way out of tune.

You'd prefer the Trump solution for Ukraine? Walk away, and kiss Putin's @ss?

2020 was covid. If I was 80yo Id enjoy life. Not get all worked up over politics.

Democrat voters said the economy was better under Trump.

If that is true you can stop mocking Joe Biden.

In that scenario every one in the US would vote for Trump right?,

but that is not going to happen.

What i really miss is people saying how good Trump is,all they can come up with how bad Biden is.

What would be the reason?

Democrat voters think Trump did better with the economy

But when you ask voters what their personal economic prospects are like, you get a very different answer:

Americans' outlooks for the future are also rosy. 66% think that 2024 will be better than 2023, and 85% of us feel we could change our personal financial situation for the better this year.

  • That's in line with Wall Street estimates, which have penciled in continued growth in both GDP and real wages for the rest of the year.

Stunning stat: 77% of Americans are happy with where they're living — including renters, who have seen their housing costs surge over the last few years and are far more likely than homeowners to describe their financial situation as poor.

You see the disconnect there? When asked about their personal prospects, which clearly they have a detailed knowledge of, they're optimistic. When asked their opinion about the economy as a whole, pessimistic. In other words most Americans think they're going to do better, but at the same time the economy is going to do worse. Me, I'll go with a diagnositc of with what they know best: their own personal financial situation.

I'm not sure where you are getting your 10 million figure from but Illegal immigration has been an issue for every POTUS in the US for many decades now Unauthorized immigrant population in the U.S. | Statista.

It is unlikely to be resolved any time soon and it's certainly Biden's Achilles heel but that's only because the GOP are struggling with anything else to criticise and it does of course play well to Trumps more rabid base.

Could the US economy really do without the illegals?

When the economy is good people will just come to try and make money.

Who would do the manual labour on the farms if not for illegals?

Illegals would stop coming to the US if everyone wanted to stop them but every one needs them.

The only problem is both sides try to spin it so that the other side looks bad but imo

every one profits from the illegals.

Yes the problem should be solved and it will take time but a wall is not the answer at all.

Second, among which countries? Among.....most populous countries (India, etc...)! That's a ridiculous comparison! 🤣

Compared to G7 countries, it's number 4, the same rank as under Trump in 2019!

Italy is no 2. Their economy is a basket case. So the US is slightly better than Italy. Thanks for the ridiculous link.

Well, first of all the same could be said of you. But in fact, there are other surveys and they all point to the same thing.

Here's another. You notice it shows that 69% of  Republicans surveyed thought their situation is at least good, but that 76% of them think the situation for the country is either bad (32%) or terrible (44%)

More than 50% of independents say the economy is getting worse.

Debt has increased under Biden.

As in other developped countries confronted with the same issue (recovering rom the Covid crisis) That's why the rank is the same as under Trump pre-Covid.
