An indication of prize differentials at the top level here, this is the $ schedule for the Bang Saen half marathon - 350,00 baht 1st overall, 30,000 first Thai

 

 

Invited Kenyan runners won male and female overall; first Thais were M-10th and F-8th

 

And note the highest age group is 70+

 

Event we entered in January had an 84 year old male runner, got massive applause at the finish line.
