Possible To Change From Multiple Entry Tourist Visa To Education Visa?

Although plenty of recourses are saying it's possible to apply for an education visa when you're already staying in Thailand on a tourist visa, I can't find anything stating this only applies to single entry tourist visas or whether it also applies to multiple entry tourist visas.

 

Hopefully someone can clear this up for me.

Well I'm genuine, so hopefully the visa is too.

Yes, it can be converted in-country (for a fee), it doesn't matter single or multi tourist visa. But some Immigration Offices don't do it. So, it depends on the location. Sometimes to school itself can help you.

I'm planning for the future so still unsure where I'll be based but will research further if and when the time comes.
