However, he said he had given instructions to police and tourism officials to brief foreigners on the need to strictly uphold Thailand’s laws. On Sunday, over 500 people attended a beach protest on the site of the incident at Yamu Beach in front of Mr Fehr’s residence in Thalang, Phuket.
