He have to live with the hand we are dealt. It's asinine to suggest that environmentalists are hypocrites because they don't walk everywhere or sail across the seas. The greatest affect anyone can have is at the ballot box. The misinformation funded by the fossil fuel companies needs to be addressed. It's no surprise that the right wing are against public education, it's all part of the con.

What misinformation? 95% of the products you use are made using fossil fuels. Fossil fuels made society modern.

The misinformation all comes from the left. 25 years of lies and scaremongering nonsense.

"The internet releases around 300m tonnes of CO2 a year – as much as all the coal, oil and gas burned in Turkey or Poland, or more than half of the fossil fuels burned in the UK"

i notice how this point was dodged and what abouted.

So much for the posters that have been telling us that science knows everything about climate change.

British Columbia Photos, facebook group. Member just posted a short video clip he took yesterday of the "Mighty Fraser River" at St George. Unfricking real. Last year was bad, you wonder if the province will burn down this year.

However, nothing to worry about ...  it is all natural ... like the Black Plague, or the boxing day tsunami TBL. Pop another tinnie, click FOX up on the flat screen. It's all good.

Except you have no solutions, as all you ever do is say the same thing over and over again. I've never seen any solution proposed by you.

I think you may very well be a badly programmed chat bot that keeps repeating the same thing as it wasn't given any solutions to post.

Despite your concerns, the planet is warming, due to human produced carbon dioxide.

Not science, just a WAG that doesn't take into account renewable energy powering many people's computers.

Just because scientists do not fully understand why ocean temperatures have been at record highs for  the last year, doesn't mean that human caused climate change isn't happening. Weather, climate. vulcanism and many other factors are all subject to chaos - the results you get all come down to probability, and not the same every time. But trends do tell you where things are going. The climatic changes now happening are having hard to predict outcomes, like rain in winter in the Arctic - this has a catastrophic effect on the snowpack, stopping grazing animals reach plants beneath the ice which then forms, and changing albedo (causing more warming). Caribou herds are rapidly shrinking, some by more than 90%.

And this is just the start. Sit back and do nothing, and yes, the global civilisation will start to break down. Mass extinction? To hard to predict, but could happen. Or, we can try to undo some of what we have done. But little hope of that, going by so many of the dolts on here....

Internet burns co2. You should cut back.
