If your guy is Trump, then your argument makes no sense at all. Trump frequently confuses Biden with Obama, and on one occasion even claimed that he was going to run against Obama in the upcoming election. On his campaign trail he is often confused about which state or town he's in. Also him storing state secrets in his bathroom at Mar a Lago, does not speak well of his competence nor his judgement. The US may deserve a younger and more energetic president than Biden, but in no conceivable way is an equally old and more confused Trump a better alternative.

There's the difference, as most Yanks, like myself, probably couldn't match 10 world leaders up with their country, even if given both names, OK, maybe 10, but not 15.  Let alone, heard any of their speeches, or who their political opponent is, when's their next election or even what office they hold, president, PM, elected or appointed, what party ... nothing.

 

Not that non Yanks understand USA political system, how it works, but then again, many Yanks haven't a clue.

I would put money on seedy politicians working as a united team against the divided people to get their hands on the $trillions of tax kitty each year.

 

Looks to me like the Democrats and Republicans are partners of convenience splitting the taxes among themselves.

 

The caper is incredibly simple. Split the citizens in half politically, then get them rabidly arguing about about nonsensical issues like gays in the military or transgender toilets or what is a man.  So no questions arise as to where the tax money and newly printed money has dissappeared to.

 

I quit voting many decades ago and don't trust any politician of any party.

17 of his businesses have failed in the past few decades. Some at huge losses. Trump Steaks, Trump Shuttle Airline ($120 million in losses between 1988 and 1990), GoTrump, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Ice, The New Jersey Generals, Tour de Trump, Trump Network, Trump Magazine, Trumped!. Many businesses that licensed his name went bankrupt, or went out of business. And he had between four and six major bankruptcies (depending on the source), including the Trump Taj Mahal (which he spent $1.2 billion building, and was $3 billion in debt within a year of opening), Trump's Castle, Trump Place Hotel (which was very successful prior to Trump buying it in 1988, and he managed to put it into $550 million in debt by 1992!), Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts ($1.8 billion in debt by 2004, bankrupt in 2009) , and Trump Entertainment Resorts.

 

There are likely others. And this does not take into account the 3,600 lawsuits he was involved in as of the time he took office, the vast majority of which were filed by small contractors against his companies for non payment, or total default. Many of these contractors were crushed. It is part of his M.O. 

 

Nearly anything with his name on it, and his association with it, fails. And that will be even more so, after he loses the November 3rd election. His name will remain radioactive, the the rest of his life, and the mini empire will continue to dwindle. During the period from 1985 to 1989, three years of which were boom year in NY real estate, he somehow managed to lose $359 million. Between 1990 and 1991 he lost $517 million. And between 1992 and 1995 he again managed to lose $286 million. 

 

The real irony of his whole persona, is that he cannot negotiate his way out of a paper bag, much less negotiate a treaty with an adversary, which makes him very dangerous.

Without making predictions, I look on Ms. Harris a bit like Harry Truman. Nobody in 1944 Democratic hierarchy liked the current VP and, just looking at FDR, everyone knew he was on his last legs. Truman turned out to be the guy  everyone disliked the least.

Wrong! Trump uses chaos to keep himself relevant. Trying as hard as you can hoping he will NOT diminish that is lunacy. President Harris is going to be our next person to occupy the WH.
