Buy big can Hienz only 300bht for 3.15 kilos. I open put in sealed containers and freezer 2 serve size. Get out day before using and move to fridge department. Easy and cheap 45bht for 440gms.

If you microwave on defrost for 5 minutes it saves you having to decide the day before you want beans

The Cheap Charlie exit is right around the corner.

  • Sadly, I remember when TVF was full of helpful posters suggesting ways around visa restrictions.  Cheapest border runs, most helpful schools for an ED, easiest border to cross...    Nowadays

  • Make your own, It's not hard. cost about half the price they are in the shops. plus you can regulate the sugar in them.

Local BigC had Ayams English recipe for 39 baht a 420 gram can. The half size cans were more expensive! You take what you can get.

Brook is one of the best IMHO.

First i quit cheese then butter because price silly, but that's ok as they make you fat. Now bakes bean Ayam brand jumped to 169 for three from 135 at Macro, just not worth it anymore. As a comparison in Tesco UK a large tin is 45p

That's not because of the baked beans but the beer and english breakfasts and similar food

All the expats I know are slim and healthy (for their age).

It must be where you go or who you mix with.

That's why I don't hang around fat people, it's apparently contagious.
