It is quite simply and you don't need to have much intelligence to understand why there is a war in Gaza .

  •  Israel exists as a Country .
  • Palestinians refuse to accept the existence of an Israeli state .
  • Palestineians attack Israel every chance they get

Simplistic

The whole Israel- Palestine conflict revolves  around Palestinians  not accepting an Israeli state .

Had they accepted an Israeli state , there would be no conflict or wars

Any wonder why "Today" the rest of the "World"  is running around like a a dog with two knobs?

Thanks for that. He had it right but of course he failed to make it happen.

IMO peace has no chance now. Too much hatred has been created by the israelis with their killing of thousands of women, children to ever let it ride.

Every Palestinian boy will grow up wanting to kill israelis, and the wheel will keep turning. Perhaps 600 years from now they will actually have had enough to agree to a ceasefire ( that's how long it took for the English and the Irish to have a deal ).

The whole conflict evolve aroud land theft, lack of basic human rights, and a country who believes in their right to a promised land. Still there is voices who continue to make excuses, and pretend it is not true.

First of all, there should not had been any Israel or Palestine, it Should had been one country and one people. After all, they are all brothers and sisters.

Strange how the Ottaman Empire managed to control and keep peace in that erae for more than 400 years or so, wait, have to check

Palestine, which yearns for peace and stability for over a century, saw its longest period of peace during the 401 years of Ottoman rule, from the conquest of Jerusalem in 1516 to the dawn of the British Mandate in 1917

Oh, must be fake news, let me see

Although the Ottomans did not treat Jews differently from other minorities in the country, the policies seemed to align well with Jewish traditions, which allowed communities to flourish. The Jewish people were allowed to establish their own autonomous communities, which included their own schools and courts. Those rights were extremely controversial in other regions in Muslim North Africa and absolutely unrealistic in Europe. The communities would prove to be centers of education and trade because of the large array of connections to other Jewish communities across the Mediterranean

We know the history tends to be coloured by side and the those who won, still there is alot there can be said about how we ended up with the terror attack on 7. october 2023.

There will not be any solution here, and I say again, two evil doesnt make one right

Yes, the Palestinians regard the land of Israel as THEIR land and their land only , Palestinians tried to get the land back from Israel on Oct 7th, that is what the war is all about .  Palestine taking the place of Israel and Israel being non existent

Ben-Gurion, Israel's first PM could have not make it any clearer:

"Why should the Arabs make peace? If I was an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure, God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs. We come from Israel, it's true, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-Semitism the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that?"

According to Nahum Goldmann, Ben-Gurion allegedly said this to him. Goldmann was an adversary of Ben-Gurion, and he came out with this alleged quote, verbatim, in his book published two decades later (The Jewish Paradox, 1978), five years after Ben-Gurion died. There was no recording of the quote, and Ben-Gurion was no longer around to dispute it.

All that is very nice, but the fact is that the Ottoman Empire left  the Middle East in a mess.  Israel had been recognized as an entity, and yet was managed as a department of  Damascus. Everything was a part of the  Ottoman Empire. The Saudis were treated like filth and relegated to the desert. There was no Syria, no Iraq, no Lebanon and no Jordan. The collapse of the Empire  changed all that.  To deny the right of modern Israel to exist requires that the agreements to define the borders of Syria and Iraq, to carve Lebanon out of Syria, to create Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must also be torn up and disregarded.

When an Empire collapses, it doesn't happens without a mess. It's the nature of the change
