The monarchy system is obsolete. The family benefits with the perks allocated to them. Operationally, the most qualified usually does the job. Qualification by birth has no place in developed countries. This is partly why the Brits have not progressed much in recent years.

To be accurate, the perks are with UK treasury. To the tune of, circa, £200 million a year.

The UK Royalty is not just about England!¬!

In 1606 King James V1 of Scotland became King James 1 of England and in 1707 the parliaments united and Ireland joined and it became the UK in 1800 etc etc!

An internet search will reveal an almost complete lack of data suggesting that Brexit has had a positive effect. On the other hand, there is a seemingly endless number of articles, reports, etc detailing the negative effects of Brexit.

 

Given that, I don't see how it is possible to come to any other rational conclusion apart from the overwhelming body of evidence suggests that Brexit has had a negative effect.

I searched for "effects of Brexit". The overwhelming majority of the results returned suggest that Brexit has had a negative effect.
