Metal part fabrication

Our bed frame's leg gave in and we'd like to get it replaced.

 

Any places that are good with this sort of thing? I believe it's aluminum, but could be an alloy or something else; not my area of expertise at all, I'm afraid.

 

Any pointers greatly appreciated!

If you're on the Darkside, there's a metal shop on Soi Nern Plab Wan, at the intersection near Aqua Dymie bar.

I've used them for years, they've made my front gate & fixed a busted chair.  If you visit and the shop is closed (the owner has a 2nd shop in the city) either call or visit the glass shop around the corner of the same building.

Those epoxy ' plastic metal'  2 tube mixes are very strong you can build it up all around.

... And if you are in Jomtien, and if the part is steel, this shop off watboon probably can fix it (weld) too. Or possibly make replacement one if some special alloy that can not weld (try if magnet sticks, if it does it is steel)

This guy did a good job - it's visible handmade, but it fits the purpose and looks very strong and solid.
