Overstay with no consequences - basically it doesn't happen anymore. 4

Why you going to Savannakhet. To obtain another single entry non O ? You could do a border bounce obtain 30 day visa exempt stamp. Extend that stamp by 30 then extend by 60 days to visit wife 1 2
Marcel Samson Posted May 2, 2024 Author Posted May 2, 2024 Why does it have to be 13 May...........i have no other options/time Why you going to Savannakhet. To obtain another single entry non O ? Yes,withour financiele requirments Single entree
Ohyesuare Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Book a refundable flight out of thailand to Laos and get an emergency up to 7 day extension from immigration if you don't want to overstay. If asked any questions after, just say you decided to travel by land instead of air after getting the extension.
decline Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 just pay for the overstay all other options will cost more/be more hassle
Pattaya57 Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 You had a 90 day visa and a 60 day extension but you couldn't plan to depart by day 150 of stay? Anyone that plans for a 3 day overstay deserves to get fined lots in my opinion. Having said that people that do plan to overstay seem to forget that if caught on even 1 day overstay they can get a 5 year ban from Thailand 2
Caldera Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 It's a bad idea to travel overland in border areas with an overstay, as you could be unfortunate enough to get caught at a checkpoint. Just travel to Laos earlier than planned. 1

Giving this explanation to an immigration official will probably make him suspect that you are working illegally in Thailand and he might take action accordingly.
