Otop At The Royal Flora Expo

Featured Replies

For anyone looking for nice day out...OTOP just set up shop out at the Royal Flora Expo. I think they'll be out there through Sunday the 29th. Many, many quality products on display and free samples to taste and wide aisles to just walk and browse.

I don't know if it was the atmosphere or the nice setup but I bought things I normally wouldn't like at the sunday market or night bazaar. And the expo grounds looked rather nice without the huge crowds and trams running you over.

You'd think for something that big that they'd advertise with just one of the signs in English, wouldn't you? Kind of. I was stuck at a signal the other day and took the time to read it and was shocked it was going to be such a big show, but nothing for the Farangis to understand if they don't read THai. Too bad considering how many of us do some exporting or need to buy stuff to furnish our houses. I plan on checking it out next sunny day we get.

Couldn't agree more. If my wife had not mentioned it I would have never known or known too late.

Lots of Thais out there yesterday but a farang was a rare sight. Could count them on one hand.
