Many official massage  parlours or girlie bars have underage girls. How is the client supposed to check as he can assume they are all legal ?

 

And what if there is a police raid when you are hanging around ? they will definately not loose the chance to make some grub on your wallet.

 

Remeber the "zig zag scams" at Suvarnabhumi airport where foreigners were targetted on false claims, thrown in the airport lock up jail and asked to pay 10'000 $ to be let out. Was in 2016 or 2017 not sure.....all to say is that anything is good to trap a falang for money here,  so I would just stay away from those girls below 20 in the first place no matter where.

I've said nothing like that at all, and you know it.  You're just attempting to use ad hom and accusations to silence someone.

 

You have shown an interest in this topic, read responses, formulated a theory, presented it, and are now engaging further on the topic.

 

I'm not ranting about anything.  I'm, as I said, pointing out the hypocrisy.

 

Like I said, I'm not actually suggesting that you are doing anything "suspect", just that you suggesting others appear suspect for showing an interest in a topic that you also show an interest in, is blatantly hypocritical.

   It was in 2009 and some people were suspected of shoplifting at the airport duty free and they paid money not to be charged with theft

Most 18 year old girls look under 18, so if you find an 18 year old girl attractive you must be attracted to under 18 girls?  You should read that back carefully and think about how ridiculous it sounds.

They had items out towards the gangway. People were looking at items and wandering into the crowd thinking they were somehow still in the store if I remember correctly.

Because in the West a 13 year old Girl looks now like she already is 18 or even more. At least as long as she has all the warpaint on. Maybe not in the countryside, but in the cities it's more and more the case. Many tourists now come with that mindset to Thailand and see underaged Girls in all the Bars. 

 

Of course there are some Bars in the Tourist trade having underaged Girls. But not many, risk is high and usually not worth it. My impression was, when I had a look at some bars, that the same Girls from 10 or more years ago are still working the Bars or even Gogo's. The amount of porky MILFS/GILFS working is unbeleivable.

Regarding the premise of an 18 year-old being interested in a 40 year-old, that is unusual. Maybe the 40 year-old only thinks (wishes? hopes?) the 18 year-old is interested?

 

As for a 40 year-old man's need to determine or confirm a girl's age, if he thinks that this needs to be verified by asking for her ID, just stop and don't even go there.

It's really strange the way many people seem to really want there to-be guys going after underage Girls, though. Like they need it to be happening or something.

 

It seems on every thread discussing older guys with younger over 18 girls, there are always people trying to make out that that men wanting to be with younger women are suspect in some way.

Its not that unusual. Women often like opder men. I assume that she is, otherwise why is anyone even discussing it? If the girls isn't interested it's all pretty much over.

Why? If she's 18, it's fine. If she's not 18, then you walk away.

 

How would that even work? Only date girls that look over 25? Or 30 just to be sure? Sounds kind of stupid.

I'm not sure if any other guys were jealous when, at the ripe old age of 46, I started dating an 18 year-old who is now my wife of sixteen years. She looked young, of course, but she didn't look so young that I needed to check her ID. She said she was 18 and I believed her. I wasn't interested in obvious teenagers, never have been. BTW, she wasn't interested in me either.

 

Back on topic, if a girl looks too young, then she probably is.

Wouldn't you want to find out someone's age anyway, if you want a serious relationship With them? (Presumably you would have an upper limit as well as a lower one.)
