Looking For Professional Nanny For 14 Year Old Son

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone!

I need help locating a professional nanny service who can provide care for my 14 year old son.

Ideally, the following skills are required:

1. Optionally live in Nanny - private room 17th floor condo

2. Speaking English -scale 1 to 5 and 5 being the hightest, a 3 is requested

3. Meet my son at school and ensure son is safely walked home from school (one block)

4. Provide after school snack (healthy) and drink after school

5. Ensure son does not play computer games or watch T.V. until after homework is completed

6. Accompany son to after school activities as required while I am working at the office

Yes Brit, I believe he probably does. Maybe not a Nanny as we know it, more like an attentive adult friend, much the same as uncles or aunties back home. At 14 a young man is just finding himself in a "young mans" world. He could go either way with all the influences in our modern world.I would have considered and maybe requested the same for my son at the same age if I were not able to be there myself.

Good luck silentjetski

My parents got a lodger / nanny when I was 14.

Fantastic. Some of the most memorable experiences of my life. Your a great parent and your son will love you, if you get the right "nanny".

(Mine was nineteen, and that worked very well.)

Dunno - look back when I was 14 and I was given responsibility until proven otherwise. However I suppose the OP might have reason for him to need supervision.

Chok Dee with the search!! :o
