Nope, there are only one set of facts in the real world.

Guess you’ve never heard of two sides to a coin or that a glass can be both half empty and half full at the same time.

both are still 500ml in a 1000ml container.

you confuse facts with spin, which explains in part your posts.

No danger of doing that with your posts. All spin.

Of course the drain the billions of handouts to Ukraine have been on Germany, US, UK etc has been far more of a punishment than the effect of santions on Russia.

Disinformation by you.

Reality check indeed:

An influential global body has forecast Russia's economy will grow faster than all of the world's advanced economies, including the US, this year.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Russia to grow 3.2% this year, significantly more than the UK, France and Germany.

Russia’s strategy to rely more on China’s yuan is backfiring

I never said "...that the only a few Western media are owned by their State."

Take it back or be called a liar.

Your definition that ownership determines control is fine.

So to be clear, it is your position that western media that is owned by the state is controlled by the state, and that western media not owned by the state is controlled by whoever owns the media. Correct?

Not tired of useless trolling?

You cited two countries. In these countries, the other media are not controlled by the State.

Being owned by the State is a necessary, but not sufficient condition for being controlled.

The EU, Germany in particular, is not hurting Russia at all economically. All Germany succeeded in doing is hurting itself, its own people and its own industry and economy. Meanwhile the Russian economy is soaring and benefitting from the higher energy prices, its GDP growth outperforming Germany, UK, France, the US.

A clearer example of the difference of wise and farsighted leadership (Russia) compared to moronic, knee jerk, hysteric and counter productive leadership (Germany) is hard to find.

So nations should start a war and kick-start their economies. That's an example of wise and far-sighted leadership!?

The EU's dependence on Russian oil and gas has had a detrimental effect on some member states' economies. Unfortunately, doing the right thing can prove costly. The EU is now diversifying away from Russian gas but, a short-term dependency does still remain.

Hopefully, sanctions on Russia can be tightened and the Russian economy will feel the effects.

Quite true. However, the share of Russian gas imported by Germany went down from 55% to around 4%, if I remember well.

According to the Belgium environmental organization  Bond Beter Leefmilieu in 2023 Russian LNG imports grew by 41 per cent in Belgium.

26 percent of German pipeline imports come from Belgium and Netherlands. From Belgium alone the Russian share is about 6 to 11 percent for German pipeline imports.

80 percent of German LNG imports into local LNG terminals now comes from the USA. America had a lot to gain by excluding Russia from the market.
