A group of teenagers who were stealing clothes and belt buckles from fellow youths, and then showcasing their acts on Facebook, were arrested by police. The arrest happened after an investigation by Bang Phli Police Station, which had taken place around 9:30pm the previous day.

The police traced the gang to a house in the Bang Pla area of the Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province. They had received tips that a group of young people were intimidating Cambodian teenagers with knives and robbing them.

The victims of the incidents, aged 15 and 17, reported the gang to the Bang Phli police on May 20. As a result, two gang members, aged 16 and 17, were found in an apartment by police. The police discovered two school shirts and a belt buckle that matched the victims' descriptions, along with two makeshift firearms.

The police subsequently arrested two more gang members, a 17-year old teenager and a 20-year old named Tanakorn. According to the Superintendent of Bang Phli Police Station, Police Colonel Phairoj Phetphloi, the gang would ride motorcycles and approach the Cambodian teenagers on Sansuk Road in the Bang Chalong area of the Bang Phli District, and rob them using machetes.

Phairoj stated that after the robbery, the suspects would quickly escape. They would then boast about their actions on Facebook by posting pictures of the stolen goods. This allowed the police to obtain a warrant to search and detain the suspects.

The suspects have since confessed to their actions. They have been charged with armed robbery, illegal possession of firearms, and the use of vehicles in the commission of a crime. They will be further interrogated by professionals from various fields as part of the legal process.
