First RULE avoid fast food joints. 

 

I've seen too many videos, crazy people, yelling, screaming at others, throwing food etc.

Those fast food restaurants are a magnet for psycho's, obese people going crazy. 

 

Shop where the normal people go.

Earbuds work great even without the phone in hand. Listen to music. A lot of keeping people away is mental.
