Thailand has expressed its approval of the latest United Nations Security Council resolution, adopted on Monday, that calls for an immediate and full ceasefire in Gaza. The resolution particularly emphasizes the release of all hostages, including Thai nationals, and urges both involved parties to implement its terms without delay.

The resolution's adoption marks a significant step towards achieving peace in the region, according to Thai officials. The Thai government has continuously pushed for efforts to realise a two-state solution, advocating for Israel and Palestine to coexist peacefully, in accordance with international laws and relevant UN resolutions.

This resolution has gained particular importance in Thailand due to the impact of the conflict on its citizens. Since the October 7 Hamas-led attack in Israel last year, at least 41 Thai nationals were killed, and many more were taken hostage. To date, 23 Thai hostages have been released, but six still remain in captivity, creating significant concern within Thailand.

Thailand's endorsement of the UN resolution echoes the sentiments of other nations calling for an end to violence in Gaza. The Thai government is optimistic that the resolution will pave the way for a broader and sustained peace process, positively affecting both Israeli and Palestinian civilians who have borne the brunt of the ongoing conflict.

In conclusion, the Thai government's support for the UN resolution highlights its commitment not only to the safety of its citizens but also to the broader peace efforts in the Middle East. As the situation evolves, Thailand remains hopeful that the resolution's terms will be fully implemented, leading to lasting peace in the region.

But no mention from the UN for Hamas to stop the genocide of Jews.

Oh, is that because there are 56 Muslim members at the UN but only one Jewish one?

No it is not.

The UN definition of genocide in article II is :-

  1. Killing members of the group;
  2. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
  3. Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
  4. Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
  5. Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group

It is a Hamas objective to kill all Jews. See 1, 2, 3 above.

The have been sending rockets into Israel for years and on October 7th, they invaded Israel and murdered, raped and kidnapped innocent civilians at a rave.

One report from a Hamas terrorist said something along the lines of "look Dad. Be proud of your son. Here I am killing Jews."

THAT is genocide.

Israel is responding and trying to rescue the hostages.

Hamas hides them, and themselves, in and under hospitals, schools, and houses of their supporters. All of whom are 'Palestinians'.

Do not believe everything that the enemy/press tells you. They have been conned by the Pro Palestinian terrorists supporters.

As a result of this resolution I look forward to a UN Peacekeeping force to occupy Gaza to assure its neutrality during further international peace deliberations.

That should be something Thailand can support having experience in past peacekeeping deployments and its neutrality recognized by the Middle East nations and nations having political interests in the region such as Russia and China.
