Hezbollah’s leader, Hasan Nasrallah, recently issued a dire warning, stating that if war breaks out with Lebanon, Hezbollah will attack significant Israeli landmarks without restraint. The recent aggressive posture from Hezbollah, including the release of a video targeting Israeli sites, has heightened fears of a broader conflict. This video included excerpts from Nasrallah's speech, where he declared that the resistance would fight "without restraints, without rules, without limits" if war were imposed on Lebanon. The video specified targets such as Ben Gurion Airport, power plants in Ashkelon and Hadera, the nuclear facility in Dimona, the Leviathan gas field, and the port city of Ashdod.

 

This trip to Washington comes on the heels of a dispute between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the U.S. over the delay of weapons shipments to Israel. Netanyahu defended his remarks about the delay, emphasizing his responsibility to ensure that Israeli fighters are well-armed.

spidermike007 - If Biden was not trying to secure the Islamic and the 'River to the Sea' votes that he needs to win the election and send to Israel the weapons the have bought and paid for, Hamas would be gone and Israel could solve the Hezbollah problem.  Then again, if Hezbollah saw an American leader like Trump with balls they would not attack Israel since we should be backing them 100%.  Biden has enriched Iran to the point that they are supplying weapons to the terrorists regimes to take out Israel.  Hezbollah is firing between 200 and 500 missiles a day into northern Israel.  You won't read about this in any Marxist, Communist news, which includes the Stalinist media in the US.

A face only a mother would trust. He represents a religion that is determined to wipe out infidels, all non believers in Islam.  From the age of about 2, they are brainwashed in schools and mosques to hate Israel and the US and infidels.  The naive west listens to the ultimate propaganda, Aljazeera and its bought former BBC reporters and think that Israel is only fighting women and children.  With almost 2 billion of them in the world, I wouldn't bet on the odds unless  the west wakes up and fast.

Before 2018, ties between Iran and the West were beginning to thaw for real. I remember Iran even opening up to individual tourism. There was a nuclear deal in place supported by the entire international community (except the Netanyahoo regime). The situation had indeed begin to normalize.

 

Then came Trump, like the manipulated ignorant manchild that he is, and unilaterally and unnecessarily pulled the US out of the deal, at Netanyahoos behest. Destroying years and years of hard fought diplomacy in an instant. Annoying an entire world, including our allies, and unnecessarily antagonizing Iran. It was truly an amazing achievement that Russia and China signed on to. Now Iran is getting very close to having high quality nuclear material. Enough to make weapons. It's an entirely rational decision. If Ukraine hadn't given up its nuclear weapons, would Russia ever have invaded?

Good summation of key events during Trump's Presidency that heightened tension between Iran and US. I would add the killing of top Iranian General Qassem Soleiman and Trump refusal to lift sanctions on medical aids for Iran to adequately respond to the mounting health consequences of Covid-19 as failures by Trump and inflamed Iran's hatred till this day.
