Wife and I went for Aroma massgae the other day at our favorite shop .... ..  midway thru a chinese woman was in the shop..  yapping at 110db ..  I finally had enough and after telling the massuese to  "watch this" ..  I banged on the cubicle wall a few times and said be quiet....rather loudly. ( it worked and shut the woman up. )

when we finished  the owner  a nice older woman came and personally appologized for the intrusion.

I was at Maya Mall in CNX and a Chinese woman came into the mens bathroom and started yelling in Mandarin.  No one could understand what she was saying. I escorted her out whiile she was still yelling in Mandarin. I pointed to the ladies bathroom but she was not interested.  It was the mall's fault for not having signs in Mandarin???  Welcome to the future of LOS.

How so?

Migrants will opt for a dodgy passport, leave the country, thus leaving job opportunities for Thais

How so?

This new add offers job opportunities in Thailand for Laotian, Cambodian, Vietnamese and Myanmar nationals.
Nothing to do with the add promoting passports commented in the past.

These "FAKE" passports are just a scam, similar to the "FAKE" driver license scam.
The thai authorities have failed to act to these scammers and the scammers are taking every opprtunity to make money.

If Thai citizens are worried about losing jobs to the Chinese, here's a thought....

Pay attention in school, take extra lessons in your own time if your local school

is no good, get a decent qualification and you'll get a decent job with good money

and prospects. Parents, it is your responsibility to raise your children to a higher

standard than you got when you were their age. Have strong words with educators

who aren't pulling their weight, pay teachers a living wage.

One user expressed concern that such trends could eventually lead to fewer job opportunities for Thai citizens.

Hypocrites

.... how many (hundreds of?) thousands of Thais are working abroad. No issue there when they take local jobs in other countries.

No issue with the euros/dollars/etc flowing into the pockets of the family in Thailand.

Thailand should expect more ads posted in Chinese here since they have opened their borders and allow anyone in without visa. Similarly, I expect soon we will see Russians trying to do the same. Thailands opening of borders without Visas is opening a can of worms they will not like.

But can you imagine the 'outrage' if English language only billboards were openly displayed as these were?

The outrage would be that most Thai nationals wouldn't be able to read those either!
