The US stock market doubled in value under Biden, but crashed under Trump.

Your pension manager must be losing his marbles.

Yeah, the rich are doing great under Biden.

I don't really like Trump.

But my pension manager in Europe and his colleagues who know their stuff were all unanimous. Under Trump's term, all the yields in investment portfolio's (that pay our pensions), made profits like never before.

Trump is a businessman who knows how to make money for him and for others.  Consequently he does not need to generate wars to sell weapons and get kickbacks from the arms lobby. He knows the semiology of the markets and thus knows what political orientations to take and decisions to make.

One may not like the individual, but compared to Harris, he knows that making money, doing business and making profit for all, definately does not match with generating and funding wars all over the world like the Biden Harris and cronies are doing since their arrival at office.

I can't speak to European pension fund performance but my USA stock portfolio, with mostly American stocks, has been doing great under Biden/Harris.  This year it is up $25,000, 12.82%, and recently has been hitting all-time highs.  For the past two years, it's up $51,000, 29.94%.  I started my stock portfolio in 2021, with money inherited from a family trust.  I don't know how it would have fared under Trump but I'm happy with what Biden/Harris has delivered.

Hmmmm....I'm guessing this has to do with the massive corporate tax cut enacted by the Paul Ryan congress that Trump signed into law.  This artificially juiced the stock market but raised the budget deficit in the trillions.  And these tax cuts didn't exactly "trickle down" to the US economy as many of these companies conducted stock buybacks which helped their shareholders.  Had nothing to do with Trump's perceived "business acumen."

And, if you're a Republican, you should be thrilled with that.  Republicans for years have been pushing the 'trickle down' theory to support their tax cuts that mostly benefit the rich.  When the rich get richer, the benefits will trickle down to the rest of us, according to the theory

So, if the rich are, indeed, 'doing great under Biden', if 'trickle down' actually works, then millions of regular voters, Democrats and Republicans, should be doing great, too, with all that money trickling down to them, and they should be rewarding the Democrat ticket in the November election with their votes.  Umm.  Hang on.  Maybe the Republicans shouldn't be too thrilled . . .
