Now the IDF is firing on clearly marked UN vehicles. Seems they are out of control. Time for UN member countries to ignore the US veto and impose sanctions on the israeli leadership.

IDF open fire at UN humanitarian vehicle 'ten times', claims UN Spokesperson; WFP ops halted in Gaza

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clywnxj4dd8o

The UN food agency has said it is pausing the movement of its staff in the Gaza Strip "until further notice" after its team came under fire near an Israeli checkpoint.

In a statement, the World Food Programme (WFP) said the incident happened at the Wadi Gaza bridge on Tuesday evening as two of its armoured vehicles were escorting a convoy of lorries with humanitarian aid.

The WFP said that while nobody was injured, one vehicle was directly hit, despite the convoy being clearly marked and "receiving multiple clearances by Israel".

"The whole world cares deeply for Palestinians — or so they say — yet remains silent when the Hamas leader tells them to blow themselves up. Why is that?"

Oh and this is supposed to be an official from the so called political wing who helps in negotiations........

Hamas leader calls for suicide attacks in Judea and Samaria

“The enemy has opened the conflict on all fronts, seeking us all, whether we fight or not. The enemy says, ‘I am crazy,’ and it is up to the nation to assume its responsibilities. I reiterate my call for everyone to participate on multiple fronts in the actual resistance against the Zionist entity.”

The “military wings” of the Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist groups took responsibility for a failed suicide bombing attack in south Tel Aviv earlier this month.

In a statement, Hamas vowed to continue to carry out suicide attacks “as long as Israel continues its massacre and policy of assassinations in Gaza.”

Who would have thought it, Hamas the terrorists faking previous poll results to then spread in international media. There's a reason they never held elections in the 17 years they've ruled Gaza with an iron fist.

Seized Hamas documents show terror group inflated its support rates, IDF says

The Israel Defense Forces released Hamas documents on Thursday that it said showed Hamas had secretly falsified its levels of public support in polls conducted by the Ramallah-based Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR).

The IDF said the documents do not prove that PCPSR was cooperating with Hamas, but rather that the terror group was conducting clandestine actions to fraudulently influence the results of the polls.

PCPSR, which is based in the West Bank city of Ramallah, is run by prominent Palestinian pollster Khalil Shikaki.

US aid group admits Gaza convoy was taken over by unvetted people before IDF struck them

The military said Thursday that it struck the gunmen, killing them while not harming aid workers.

According to the IDF, Hamas operatives frequently try to hijack aid deliveries.

Sad news, a number of hostage bodies have been found but not identified yet, will take a few more hours for families to be notified etc.............

Israeli military says it has located several bodies in Gaza

"My staff has been in contact with Israelis," Biden said. "They've discovered bodies in Gaza. They're not sure the exact number."

He said that in the meantime, "we want to identify the bodies."

"There’s a lot of speculation to who they are, the names. I’m not at liberty to do that at this moment until the families are notified," Biden said.

Names have been released 5  people. It appears that they were executed. Medical examinations will be needed to confirm.

Yea just read it here, tragic

Biden: “It is as tragic as it is reprehensible. Make no mistake, Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. And we will keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages,” he said.

Bodies of 6 hostages, murdered by Hamas just days ago, found in Rafah – IDF

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said the six were “brutally murdered” by Hamas shortly before troops arrived — possibly only a day or two before they were found.

“According to an initial assessment… they were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists a short while before we reached them. They were abducted alive on the morning of October 7 by the Hamas terror group,” Hagari said in a press conference.

Poor innocent  terrorists were caught this time. Israel learnt its lesson on October 7.

Of the 19 UN personnel named, 10 were to be disciplined.

That's nice, they are disciplined for aiding and abetting or participating in starting a war, murdering, raping and taking hostages.

Horrific initial findings on the causes of death and treatment of the 6 hostage bodies.

Initial autopsy report indicate that the 6 Israeli hostages were executed by a gunshot to the head. Their bodies show severe neglect. At least one was bound.
The IDF believes they were murdered by Hamas in the past few days as Israeli forces were closing in on their location.

Executing hostages is a war crime .

I expect that there will be mass protests in Western Countries opposing these war crimes and calling for the killings to stop .

Millions of people  will be out on the streets next week-end calling for a stop to these war crimes and prosecution of the war criminals .

I expect that the I.C.J are putting a criminal case together now against the murderers .

Interesting analysis from the U.S.  Institute for Peace:

Israel-Hezbollah Contained Escalation Halts Concern Over Broader Mideast War

Iran remains the joker in the pack.  As the article states, the killing of Ismail Haniyeh was an embarassing breach of security for Iran, but may not be sufficient cause to provoke the country's rulers into a costly war to avenge a non-Iranian citizen.   However, due to the erratic thought processes and mindset of Iran's leaders, it's impossible to predict what they'll do.

Some commentators  had expected a much harsher response to the assasination of Major General Qasem Soleimani by a U.S. drone strike in Iraq in 2020.  Iran launched about 15 surface-to-surface missiles at two U.S. air bases in Iraq, but no personnel were killed or seriously injured.  Soleimani had been considered a high-profile military leader and national hero, so the retalitiaon was regarded as minimal and not intended to foreshadow  more serious military action.  It would be odd in comparison if Iran were willing to launch a full attack on Israel over Haniyeh's death.

Most likely Iran will increase funds and equipment to Hamas, Hezbollah and other proxy groups so they can take action against Israel.

I am of the view that a major factor in this war has been Iran and to a lesser extent, Russia. Israel was on the verge of signing a monumental  diplomatic agreement with  KSA and then Oman that would have shifted the power dynamic. The Gulf states were about to take over as the lead funder of regional redevelopment and influence and Iran was not  going to allow that to happen.  Iran wants to control the region and has extended its reach into Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan. Wherever the Iranians go,  war and destruction follows.

Instability in the region serves Russian interests as it forces the west to  dedicate  resources on protecting trade routes and in slowing the flood of economic migrants. The Russians take comfort in knowing that NATO  borders a region that is hostile to western values and culture. Making the region more hostile is in its best interests. Disruption in the Gulf ensures that oil and gas prices remain high, benefiting the pricing of Russia's own oil and gas exports.

he Justice Department announced today the unsealing of terrorism, murder conspiracy, and sanctions-evasion charges against six senior leaders of Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization. It takes time to get responsible parties. How long did it take the US  government to get the  people responsible for attacking the US mission in Beirut in the 1980's? How long did it take to get Osama bin Laden? It isn't an easy task to  get someone when they are  hiding out in countries which go to great lengths to protect such people. (Hello Pakistan, Qatar, Turkey, Iran).  Much of the world enables terrorism for fear that if they don't kowtow they will be targeted.

Excellent news, one of the vilest beings that lived has been taken out by the IDF

The IDF has reportedly killed an elite Hamas commander who led the invasion of Moshav Netiv Ha’asara on October 7, and who was filmed drinking Coca-Cola from the fridge of a home there moments after murdering a man in front of his young children inside the same home.

Israeli outlets report, without citing sources, that the Israeli victim’s family was told yesterday that the IDF and the Shin Bet have now taken out Ahmed Wadiyya in an airstrike that killed eight Hamas members near Gaza City’s al-Ahli Hospital.

Hamas looking for evidence to submit to the ICJ to back up their baseless accusations.............

South Africa is attempting to postpone the deadline for which it would have to submit its evidence at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Hague due to a lack of evidence pointing to genocide in Gaza, according to KAN news on Tuesday.

South Africa is required to submit its evidence by October 28. However, the report noted that it is now attempting to add a few more months to the timeline.
