Thai women fight Kuwaiti tourists in Soi Bangla, Phuket - video

When I visited Phuket last year, most tourists were Arab, Malaysia, Indian and Russian. And it seemed like many of them were low income types on a budget. The place was a pale shadow of its former self. And Bangla was absolutely horrendous. The talent level was the lowest I have ever seen, and the prices were sky high. Yikes. Never again.

What is up with all the Kuwaiti tourist stories of late? Racing motobikes, fighting locals etc. Maybe the RTP Immigration Bureau could limit the Kuwaiti visas to 72 hours with 24 hour hold over for proper clearance.

They can't even use alcohol as an excuse. At least they shouldn't be able to!

I hope the police take this seriously as I don't want Pattaya or Phuket both  world renowned tourist centres getting Thailand a bad reputation 😱

For tourists thinking of coming to Thailand in the future

The Kiwati that tried kicking the women in the head needs to be arrested and thrown out of the country the little bastard with the knife needs to be thrown in jail

I didn't see a real attempt to kick her in the head what I see is a wild kick lashing out sort of saying get away. The knife on the other hand is a different story and needs dealing.

Ah yes. Safe zone 1.0 or 2.0 wasn't it.

Where i come from most of the people watching, especially these "men" would be there ready to intervene and try to calm things down. In contrast here they look for blood hoping to get a shot in or put a knife in some guy for fun in some situation they know nothing about.

Don't expect knife guy to be in the news anytime soon. He will probably be back down there tonight with his huge knife hoping to stab someone else.

“Knife guy” needs to be identified and prosecuted. It should be easy enough to find him from the video evidence.
The gutless little tosser will, no doubt, be hiding under a rock somewhere but police need to make an example of him

"Should" and "need".....as always. Just accept Thailand as it is. And avoid social Hotspots at night.

Don't get me wrong: I agree with you but try to enjoy the better things in this country. Definitely not these areas with men looking for cheap prostitutes.🫤

Oh boy...These places, Patong, pattaya et al...What a sewer. Looks like those distopic places in sci fi apocalyptic  movies with crippled, deformed humanoids. My guess is at some point they might decide to bulldozed it all and rebuild whatever, but something else...

If a foreign male kicks a Thai woman in the head they should expect a good stabbing really.

Teach him some manners.

I do not see a single policeman in the video. So when did they intervene and escort both parties to the station? What about the man with the knife? The police need to find him more than dealing with the drunk women. Arrest him for attempted murder using a weapon. He should be their focus now. Any man willing to pull a knife in public to go after foreigners who are defending themselves from locals needs to be locked up.

There seems to be a lot of hate generated by recent news against kuwaitis. As the story reports the Thai woman initiated this conflict by pouring their drinks on the Kuwaiti women.

To be honest, based on the salary those cops get, if I was a cop, I would sit back and watch Workpoint or Thai Soap Operas and let those Farangs and Thais beat each other up.  Then I would go and arrest them all and fine them.  Those id***ts are not worth saving from their inability to control their alcohol intake.

The Crime Against Humanity by the USA continues unabated...if it was not for our Fast Food and junk food served in Thai Malls, we would not have Buffalos roaming the streets of Bangla Road after 0400.

Full Muslim dress for women is common - but not mandatory - though they are expected to cover most of their bodies so no short, tight mini-skirts.)

That would make it hard to get any customers.

The woman recording the video sounds like she's either orgasming  or having a stroke.

Or hoping for a stroke or giving one.😉

So this month is seems to be the Kuwaiti; we had the Germans, the Swiss and the Russians already in 2024; who is next?

My tip to the rulers of the land; lock all borders, throw all alien, blacks, whites, farangs, foreigners and whatever else you hate, out of the country for good.

Then only you will see, that nothing changes except that 90% of the money in circulation is gone!

Pathetic bull"%ç", get your act together, reprimand misbehaving people irrespective of nationality and, in the case of a non-Thai, apply the existing rules and regulations on how to deal with uncalled behaving non-Thais.

I cannot hear that hatred from each and every corner in shops, banks, buses and public places. It is "farang, farang, farang" literally everywhere as if I would have the plague ........... most uncomfortable indeed 😞

I'm guessing someone made an unkind remark about someone's weight. As true as that might be, it's totally understandable how that type of hurtful comment could trigger someone at the end of a long and quite possibly unlucrative evening.

Fabolous Pattaya reported this morning that there was a meeting with Chonburi Police and Kuwait Embassy Bangkok, let's see what the outcome is.
