Bhumjaithai Party Opposes Casinos in Entertainment Complexes
Kudos to the BJP although gambling may generate government revenue, it simultaneously creates misery, family strife, debt and destruction. Who picks up the pieces of the destroyed lives it leaves in it's wake? -

Thailand's 5-20 Year Visa Now a Bit Cheaper
Totally Over the top , Look at the normal extensions x THB. 2,000 works out THB 40,000 for 20 years ,slightly different than the THB 900K up to 2 Mill. One can't tell me that the So called Perks cost that much. (if one can call them perks) Just a big Laugh. -

Bhumjaithai Party Opposes Casinos in Entertainment Complexes
It is about time someone is saying what a bad idea this will be for the Average Thais.. Gambling in Thailand is a serious problem. So many lose everything and then borrow on things and unable to repay. Usually using loan sharks to do it. -

Next US President Will Wear The Grandaddy of Hoover Curses
Well, at least this time you were able to transcend the brainless chant of "orange man bad." Kudos to you. And this comment at least talked in the direction of the original post. As for just reading past the pabalum like yours, I was the one who created the original post and so trite like yours naturally comes across the desk. It's actually you who needs to get over yourself because you could not resist the urge to come back here and drop a second dukie. I'm perfectly aware of history both contemporary and earlier, and also perfectly qualified to make observations based on it. The beauty of being out of the country (a conscious choice dating back to the 1970's) is the improved ability to see things unfiltered through assorted lenses designed to distort reality. In the meantime, please continue to enjoy paddling around in your kiddie pool. -

Is it worth having one short sighted eye corrected?
I'm 53, just had cataracts done in both eyes. Worn contacts all my life for short-sightedness since I was 12/13. Vision is perfect now for distance but has some light flicker depending on direction of light coming in, usually from the side. If you go the lasik route, this can give problems if you later require cataracts removed. A woman having her eyes done same time as me had unfavourable blurriness after her lens replacement due to previous lasik. If I was you, I'd go for a contact lens. Leave any surgery until you really need it. I guess I'm just unfortunate that I needed it at a relatively early age as far as cataracts go. Also, if you get lasik, your vision might change again years down the line, especially in later years, then you're back to square one. A contact lens can easily have the prescription changed if it does. -

Trump: “There Will Be No Third Debate!”
Unfortunately the "debate" was heavy on fact distortion and outright lies. From both sides. Trump accusing Biden and Harris of causing inflation was distortion and a lie, because even the most superficially informed person would have been aware that inflation was a global problem. He could have outlined the measures taken by them made inflation worse. But he claimed they caused inflation which nobody in their right mind would believe. Harris claimed Trump was responsible for the pandemic, which frankly was outright ludicrous. She was not called on it, presumably because the lie was so obvious. Just like with Trump's inflation charge. Trump lied about Harris being a Marxist. He was not called on it. She's left and liberal, obviously not a marxist. Harris claimed Agenda 2025 was Trump's agenda. A complete utter lie she was not called on. Even though she made the allegation several times. Trump claimed Ukraine and the Israel wars would not have started with him in power, if not an outright lie still extremely implausible. Harris claimed Trump opposed IVF, a total lie. Not called on it. Trump claimed they sent Kamala Harris to negotiate peace between Ukraine and Russia days before the war. They wouldn't have sent Kamala Harris to negotiate peace in a Kindergarten. She was sent to meet Zelensky to give him intelligence and promises of weaons, to ensure the war would happen because American wanted the war to weaken Russia. Another lie Trump was not callled on. Kamala harris claimed she always supported private health care. This even after the moderator told her she supported Bernie Sanders push to abolish private medical health care. A blatant lie. Not callled. Trump claimed China paid Biden millions of dollars. News to me. Anyway. Trump was in control until the pet faux pas. He was called out. Then he seemed to debate more with David Muir than with Harris. Both the moderators and Harris made a concerted effort to make the debate about Trump's past record, the capitol, the court cases, and Trump obliged each time. He should have made it more about her, like he did that in the last exchange where Trump was brilliant and clearly won the exchange. But he was floundering for 45 minutes before that waffling about his own past behaviour, which was not helpful. That's why I say it was a tie, because Trump won the beginning and the end, and Harris won the middle by deflecting all questions and instead getting Trump to talk about his own issues. The intervention of the moderators was absolutely extraordinary though, you really would have thought it's the ABC moderator vs Trump debate at one point, not the presidential debate. -

Hybrid vs Turbo petrol new car choice.
Hi. Buying new 2025 Civic. There is choice Hybrid 2.0lL + electric motor vs 1.5 VTEC Turbo. Hybrid there is 2 models regular one and RS sporty most expensive. Basically Turbo is cheapest then add 100k u get basic hybrid it's like turbo but with electric engine. Add 200k u get hybrid RS. I went Turbo just want hear from ppl with hybrid cars Thier experience as never had one. That hybrid is bit faster but that's not a factor cuz if u really want u can tune up turbo easy change air filter only and it gets few HP more.... Fuel saving is not an goal too as I had 2.8L Fortuner before that. Just want make sure Turbo model is good choice.... https://www.honda.co.th/en/civic -
