Lopburi: 18 Year Old Man Fatally Attacked by Three American Bully Dogs

Recommended Posts

Ireland has effectively banned the XL Bully after this poor girl was savaged and mauled to death by her pet after a night out. So, was the dog jealous?

There's been some debate in this thread as to whether  the American Bully is a pitbull or not.  The answer depends on which definitions you use, but it's accurate to say the American Bully is a pitbull-type dog.

I'll quote from Pitbullinfo.org, definitely a pro-pitbull site:  "Today, 'pitbull' has become an umbrella term loosely used to describe many different medium-sized, short-haired breeds and mixes with physical features typical of various bully-type breeds. While the American Pit Bull Terrier is the only formal breed with the term 'pit bull' in its name, over 20 different breeds and numerous mixes share physical traits common to those in the pitbull-type category."

Moreover, it states:

It is rather pedantic to argue whether an American Bully can be called a pitbull.  It reminds me of the famous theological debate about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

Fact: dogs are the most dangerous animals on the planet for humans. Dog attacks on humans outnumber all other animal attacks combined. Likewise human deaths from dog attacks, either directly from bites or post attacks from rabies or infections.

Dogs are NOT the most dangerous animals for humans.  Mosquitoes are the living creature (animal in the broadest sense) that are responsible for most human deaths because they spread diseases.  If you consider humans as animals, they are far more dangerous than dogs.  Snakes arein third plce in terms of human deaths and dogs come fourth.  https://www.sciencefocus.com/nature/what-animals-kills-the-most-people

Maybe a Vietnamese dog restaurant could adopt them.

Seriously though, what an idiotic idea. Dogs that have killed a human are a danger for other humans as well and need to be put down without delay.

Yes, only in Thailand or an Asian country, does a dog owner of killer dogs, try to

adopt them instead of getting them put down. Coward.

Drop them off at a temple they will come right.

lots of temples around Hua Hin have hundreds of dogs dropped on them , they then become better fed soi dogs, but still soi dogs, they should be sterilized, I thought this was the plan a few years ago but there's still thousands of them around, where I live they wake you up in the early hours of the morning howling and barking, then they sleep on the road all day. Someone drops buckets of rice all along the road side just about every day, seems to calm them down a bit, although some are so mangy they should be put down at a vet, it would be the kindest humane thing for them.

Idiots and their time bombs.

Having a Pit Bull is like leaving a loaded hand gun lying around, Sure, 99% of the time nothing will go wrong. But with both a gun and a Pit Bull, if anything does go wrong they are both deadly. Pit Bulls are killers - born and bred to attack Bears and Bulls, and then they moved into dog fighting in dog fighting pits. They are a very dangerous animal and should be destroyed (humanely) all of them without exception.

Only if/when one of these rabid out of control dogs in Thailand kills a family member of you know who, then and only then will drastic and appropriate action take place.  It is time Thailand joined the 21st Century world regarding the control of dogs - and not stay in the 14th to 19th centuries.  They dont eat dogs here anymore like in some other SEAsian countries and that was a good change - but given that they dont do that anymore, they cannot just let them roam - they are all a dangerous animal to a small child,

I recall the pit bull story some time ag about a bloke that had raised and slept with his pit bull since it was a small puppy.  One night something went wrong and the pit bull killed him - it nearly tore his head off - the son was bitten trying to stop the dog but eventually got him off the body.  Not much sympathy from me as it was a very stupid thing to do to sleep with any dog - but what made me angry is that the family did not want the dog destroyed - they tried to stop the police taking it away and shooting it (which they did eventually). Unbelievable.
