Perhaps Lawinfo.com is concerned with a definition that meets the criteria for criminal prosecution. Not so the Oxford English Dictionary: -

Feel sorry for AN posters who bought electric
Don't worry 'bout me, buddy. I know little to nothing 'bout solar systems now, that's why I be axin' questions. Shirley, I'll "do my own research" before embarking on an installation. Remember - There are no stupid questions, just stupid responses. -

The Tim Walz thread.
I already read it. From your own link: "Early on, Vance's answers Tuesday night flowed clearly and he seemed more confident, while Walz stumbled, seeming uncomfortable, stilted and unfamiliar with certain topics. A tempered debate, with few political body blows, also probably served Vance best in the end, as it gave him space to defend running mate Donald Trump, and smooth over some of the former president’s rougher edges. If Vance was picked because he puts ideological meat on the bones of Trump’s conservative populism, on Tuesday night Vance put a polite, humble face on them, as well. Vance’s strong performance is likely to buoy Republicans in the days ahead. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y0863ry88o So the BBC agrees with the Telegraph, Vance won it. They're just being more diplomatic about the very obvious. -

Frozen in time: British expats losing out on pensions in Thailand
When I started started paying my compulsory government pension 50 years ago did I know that the government would freeze it if I retired in Thailand. This new Labour governments first major financial decision was to cut pensions. Shame on them. -

Feel sorry for AN posters who bought electric
Full house solar setup not necessary. 'Lectric bills run max 4000 if all AC's running, as low as 1500 in cooler months. My six year total would be under 200K. If a small system is cheap enough, should be easier than running power from the house. Don't drive much, car could sit for days unused and charging, so never need to use an EV station. No EV stations locally, nearest I've seen is 50km away. Car would be used for local shopping and the occasional foray into the big city or to immigration. I can keep the CNG Hilux for totin' large items and travel. If a small battery storage module is cheap enough, why waste free 'lectric?- 1

Four Charges Filed Against Driver in Bus Fire That Killed 23
Amazing how everybody is pointing at the driver, yet nobody is pointing at the REAL CULPRIT. The bus owner and the Minister of Transport who allows an old dodgy bus to be DANGEROUSLY modified and be on the roads. Also, the modified bus was not carrying the necessary SAFETY DEVICES (window smashers on each row, emergency door openers, NGV compartiment shielded from passengers department, etc.). This whole accident will be forgotten in a few weeks, just like the amount of passengers in a pick-up, nobody will face arrests, and Thailand will continue to be a country with the highest death toll on the roads. Shame on you THAILAND. -

Frozen in time: British expats losing out on pensions in Thailand
I hear this dumb argument often. If they worked hard they would have a pension income besides the pittance they get from the government. no, most likely they were on government dosh most of their lives. Then they watched some YouTube influencers that claim you can live in Thailand on 500 pounds a month and here they are. -
