The Bangkok Office of Culture and Tourism has made history by winning the prestigious "Best Booth Design" award at the ITE (International Travel Expo) HCMC 2024 exhibition, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from September 5-7, 2024. This recognition marks a significant achievement for the office, highlighting Bangkok's cultural and tourism appeal on an international stage.

The award was received by Ms. Yaowalak Pimpanid, Director of the Office of Culture and Tourism, who led the design and presentation of the booth. The exhibit showcased Bangkok’s rich diversity as a hub for transportation, economy, and governance, while also highlighting its unique attractions such as historical landmarks, traditions, and community lifestyles. Despite the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism, the city's efforts to promote its image and readiness for both domestic and international tourism have drawn high-quality visitors, generating significant revenue for the sector.

Through meticulous storytelling and creative exhibition design, the Bangkok Office of Culture and Tourism succeeded in presenting the city’s vibrant cultural identity. This success, orchestrated by the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Department, solidified Bangkok's position as a premier travel destination, earning the "Best Booth Design" award at ITE HCMC 2024.
