Dr. Yong is entitled to his opinion. But the facts tell a different story. Right now, Thailand is merely in the normal "low" season for COVID activity after the typical post-Song Kran-mid-year surge. But just several months back in June, Thailand was reporting 3,000+ new COVID hospitalizations in a week, 16 deaths per week and more than 700 COVID patients hospitalized in serious condition for that week. MoPH Weekly COVID report for the week ending June 29, 2024: Comparing the 2024 COVID peak in Thailand with the comparable mid-year 2023 peak, reported COVID deaths (in dark gray color) were lower (and that's good new), but the peak of new weekly COVID hospitalizations (in red color) and the number of COVID patients hospitalized in serious condition (in dark purple color) were both HIGHER in 2024 than in 2023, not lower. "Imagine" by John Lennon is often considered the best song of the past 100 years. It doesn't get my vote, but it is the opinion of many. In terms of which song has had the most influence in the past 100 years, I would say the U.S. Civil War song "Battle Hymn of the Republic." It had a significant role as both a marching song for Northern troops and an inspirational song for civilians. Lines from the song have been used as the titles of movies and books as well as in speeches. Several of Dr. Martin Luther King's most famous speeches have made reference to or quoted "Battle Hymn of the Republic." King's last publicly spoken words before his assasination were "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." -

The Second Great Fire of London was of course payback for the carpet bombing the British had started in May 1940. You should state the full facts. -

By not workable, I believe they mean not workable for a certain class investors that have high turnover as part of their investment strategy. Having an effective tax rate exceeding 100% is not workable. Imagine you hold two stock options expiring a year out, one goes up 100% while the other craters to zero. You now have a tax bill for 30% on that 100% gain (or whatever your bracket is), on a net gain of $0. -

Hybrid vs Turbo petrol new car choice.
I owned the Lexus ES300h, it had good driving manners, the only disconcerting thing is the dead quiet, you do not know if the engine is on just by ear. So quiet it is almost eerie. But driving was good, economical. No issues. I think the Civic is a great choice. Enjoy. -

My condo bills are generated on the 1st of each month, my house a week earlier etc., you need to enter some details from your electric bill into the app (only once) so the app knows which meter to pay You open the app select the payment section and the bills appear in order, check the box for payment and all these bills are totalled, I then choose payment through my kasikorn account, open my kasikorn app and pay the total. It's a bit fidly to set up but once it's all set up, very easy to pay each month. -

Good luck achieving gains on the local market, have you seen the historical performance of SET100? Not even sure it has outperformed inflation on the 20 year, and sure dividends help, but it's not appealing to put it mildly. Take some of the major banks for example, monopoly on the market with their 200thb ATM fees - yet barely up since 2007. There has got to be corruption in the mix, makes no sense.
