Popular Post GammaGlobulin Posted September 15, 2024 Popular Post Posted September 15, 2024 Dear Folks, BEFORE the Fillmore East became an Apple Bank.... Then you had greatness like this..... Nobody worth their salt gives a flying FING Carp about ANYTHING of value....these days...and so....this makes me feel like I'm dying.....BIG TIME....as Trump likes to say.... Fillmore East is where we heard sublime music of everlasting import....which....BLEW OUR MINDS....FOREVER.....! Such as..... Guys who really CARED about the music they played..... Where OH Where...... Have the Good Times Gone? Maybe OUT into OUTER Space, to be with Vonnegut? Really, we are now living in the Dead Zone, first envisioned by Stephen King....or something.....maybe.... Obviously....most people these days...need to be put on the Whipping Post....to, once again, experience what LIFE should actually FEEL like.... We are now lost, with no way home.... Still, we can recall what once was....maybe.... And.... Let the rain fall down.... Makes me sick.....listening to what is passed off for "music" these days. Even Benny Goodman would vomit....IMHO.....listening to what is being listened to....THESE DAYS.... These Dark Days..... Disgusting...really..... Most of what is passed off, today, I would consider to be no less ...than..... VOMITUS played by Motley Fools.....I say! Yes. The Fillmore East, before becoming Apple Bank, was a special place in Space and Time..... And those times are gone. So then.... Happy Banking....Y'all.... Your loss.... And the rich get richer.... While the poor man has none.... Best regards, Gamma Never deserved to be at The Fillmore East....but still.....the Blood, Sweat & Tears song is more of a BANKING song..... The Fillmore East will NEVER return. It's GONE.... Gone! 1 1 2

The partial pressure of Space is quite low, you know.... What IS Partial Pressure.....Anyway? Do you even have a clue? And, what is the pressure in Near-Earth-Orbit? Well...if you really want to know....then you might need to read up on the atmospheric characteristics of the THERMOSPHERE....: Never fear...because.... Even YOUR gonads will NOT explode in Near-Earth Orbit.... But if they did..... I would NOT want to be nearby....For Sure! 1
Luuk Chaai Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 Greatest Rock Venue of our lifetime . Thank you Bill Graham
RayWright Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 One of my all time favorite albums is Performance: Rocking the Fillmore by Humble Pie, recorded in May 1971. The classic lineup that included a 21 year old Peter Frampton, Steve Marriott and Messrs Greg Ridley and Jerry Shirley on rhythm section. "We go home on Monday, but we want to say it's really been a gas this time". Fillmore East and West was always the staple for acts over from the UK.

Going home was not usually a joyful time for me in my early times of coming to SEA. Sounds like you dispute those who claim that Pattaya is a dead or dying destination.

The above is a quote from Steve Marriott just before the last track ( I don't need no Doctor) on the album. Having just played a 2 night residency that went down a storm, just thanking the audience. For me, am staying here (Jomtien) for at least the next couple of years at least.
