Leaving aside the obvious Monty Python reference to the knights who say "Ni!", I can't but help but wonder how he knew that Trump would be playing golf on that day, at that time, on that golf course. Unless he had set up camp in the shrubbery in the hope that sooner or later Trump would play a round of golf.

 

If it was a regular standing engagement, well known to the public, then it was pretty inept of the security people not to have checked and secured all likely firing positions overlooking the course, dogs are jolly handy for that. Of course, if it was a regular occurrence, day and time, one would rather have expected a coterie of admirers hanging about the boundary, in the hope of seeing their idol in action at the adjacent hole!

An assassination attempt on trump is not supported by the Democrats, as very clearly publicly  stated by their leadership, political violence is totally unacceptable. Unfortunately political violence is supported by extremists from both the left and right of politics.

Many Democrat supporters celebrated the previous assassination attempt. Lots of posts on social media bemoaning the fact the would be assassin was unsuccessful.
