Will you leave this Forum?
Yes i totally agree, this forum is slowly but steadily going to the dump. Too many topics are turning into a pxssing match and it is the main reason i decide not to respond or even read some topics any more. The maga crowd is ruining many discussions because there is no reasoning with them. It is what it is however and we will all see how this plays out. -

Thailand to borrow 2.59 trillion baht for 2025 budget
I am a bit confused. Why would and country borrow money to repay debt? Surely all you end up with is a bigger debt. The way out of that debt trap is to borrow more money to repay THAT debt. Now me, I would have thought that the best way out of debt is to cut back on spending, borrow NO money, and repay what you owe, -

Thailand issues four major announcements on new visa measures
FYI, thailand has already got agreements with most countries exchanged. Much faster than what i thought. IMHO, It points to the possibility that they do plan to use the system, and more likely that they may implement The change to global income assessment. -

Ideas for a low speed room fan?
In general, smaller fans spin faster, and larger fans rotate slightly slower as they increase in size. For ceiling fans you can buy dimmer as switch. https://s.lazada.co.th/s.qmM66?cc It give also dimmer cord switchs but I never tried it. https://s.lazada.co.th/s.qmMue?cc Together with cable https://s.lazada.co.th/s.qmo4f?cc -

Why do some Farang worry so much about Thailand being too =hot=?
Because I can choose where I want to live, and happiness to me, is an active outdoor life, not inside. Therefore I choose colder clean climate instead of living here in Thailand, as well my orign country offer work and social security for my wife. I can't have either of those two in Thailand, even they want to tax my transfers. So thre points and out Heat Pollution Tax -

Interactive Wire Transfer In Baht to Bangkok Bank - BBK Transfer fees?
Open a wise account that’s the best way to transfer money and it’s not expensive if I was to send £1,000 it cost about £ 7 and is there in minutes if I used my UK bank it would cost at least 3 times as much plus the exchange rate would be <deleted> -

Daikin - the worst garbage aircon
They will all leak if the condensation drainage tube is badly installed or becomes blocked with something insects or more likely a strange goey slime like mucous that likes to grow there..have the aircon cleaned properly (including drainage pipe)at least every six months to avoid this. Also try not to have electronic equipment under the aircon but if unavoidable then find some way to stop the water dripping onto the equipment....a shelf perhaps with a drip pan sat on it....I have been caught out by this but luckily/miraculously the electronics where not damaged...they where in standby mode, immediately unplugged I let them dry out thoroughly for a few days before plugging back in with fingers crossed. -

Thailand Introduces New Bill to Regulate Cannabis While Keeping It Legal
Not in Thailand perhaps. In other countries, UK for example, traffic police routinely do drug wipes in the same way as they carry out alcohol breath tests. The penalties for failing are similarly strict. What I noticed in the OP was the wording "The proposed law, however, includes strict penalties for unauthorised cannabis consumption," That strikes me as saying you can sell it but when the buyer gets out on the street (s)he is liable to arrest. Wouldn't that open the door for even more shakedowns of the public buyers, whilst protecting the sellers who might have been contributing to the police benevolent fund? Or am I way too cynical? 🙄
