Anyone, this evening.....

Sleeping on a surrealistic pillow?

I just washed my bedding in my New Samsung 16Kg Washing Machine...and.....

SAMSUNG RULES!

It's all too beautiful.....

I'd like to go there...now....with you.....

We'll get high......

It's all too beautiful....

This thread is about best songs. Anger and aggression are not good.

Also, it's unwise to use words such as "aggressivity", which should not exist in the English language....outside, or even inside, the UK.

Best is what makes one feel great, not sad, not angry, not healing- great, happy, top of the world, ecstatic, etc.

I know depression, and when depressed, you can't feel happy music, good wine, good food, nice food, it just doesn't work, but songs that makes you feel the pain, can make you feel something, and thats a good start out of a depression.

I repeat, the thread is about best songs. Best is not sad, or angry, or depressed.

noun: best

that which is the most excellent, outstanding, or desirable.

Who are you to define best 😏

With all respect, you are wrong, there is many great songs, with a happy beat where the texts is quite depressing if you understood or analyzed the lyrics, or knew the story behind

The dictionary that I quoted is a good source.

I'm not saying one can't enjoy a sad song, or that a happy song can make us sad.

I get sad whenever I hear a Carpenter's song as she died too young.

I get sad when listening to the best song Dire Straits ever made- Romeo and Juliette- because it's a sad song, but I wouldn't say it's the best song ever made.

I get sad a lot when listening to music that I enjoyed when a young man, but that's because it makes me realise how close to death I am.

The best music lifts us to the heavens, and probably no pop song qualifies. Classical music is where to look.

IMO the best songs are the less well known ones that most have never heard.

The Power of Love by Jennifer Rush lifts me up like few do

Lui Red, Amy Winehouse, Nick cave,

Great artists

a whole list here of who I used to listening to + more. Good poetry and well written sad depressive lyrics is quality music, and healing as I said

https://www.thetoptens.com/music/music-artists-with-depressing-music/

Lou Reed I think. His songs are weird

Amy is <deleted> IMO, Cave is boring.

We all love different stuff. I love everything from Acker Bilk to Chris De Burgh, Jazz, Blues, Country, but it has to be danceable to. If you can't dance to it it isn't music IMO.

Well, music can measures in popularity, but still very subjective unless fed through mass media and big screen movies, creating emotions to experiences and pictures.

Nick Cave is far from boring, he is an true artist, a genius.

Bob Dylan?

Pink Floyd is the band I still keep with me since 12 years old, all the rest is just memories, and I moved on. I'm not playing ACDC or Faithless anymore

Last year I had Dope Lemon on my brain, do not know why, but it got me to relax at my balcony without any stimulants 😄

Great dope music

Cave is a genius only in your mind.

I like Dylan songs, some more than others.
