Hua Hin Immigration office charging 500baht "Labor fee" on visas & extensions ??

Recommended Posts

Google Maps comments don't report anything of the sort.

Only good reviews (mine included).

I had my visa extended in Krabi a week ago. 1900thb as usual.

If such a tax was implemented it would probably be nationwide.

People are reporting that the main Hua Hin Immigration office has a sign stating there's a 500baht "labor fee" now on visas/extensions.

All visas and extensions including tourism ?

Excellent. Expected posts such as your experience.

BTW since you deal with Hua Hin can you confirm cost of certificate of residence (COR) .

Vaguely recall that's 500b

Since using HH Immigration never needed a CoR, Yellow Housebook was always sufficient to open a Bank Account or register a new Car. But I had to pay 500 THB for transfer of Stamps from old to new Passport. Usual free of charge.

That indicates rogue office.

I'm not familiar with immigration offices charging anything for transfer of stamps.

Recently I obtained new pp and attended  CW for transfer of stamps. Zero charge

Hua Hin charging 500 is ridiculous unless you used agent

Thank you for that info. 👍👍👍

I wish I could close this post now but alas people who write posts can't close them (at least not that I saw)
