You appear to not understand what GDP is....it is the sum of ALL final goods and services that are sold, whether declared or not, visible to all or not. That means all the things you mentioned are already included. There are three ways to measure GDP and one of them is the value of all purchases. Thailand specifically does not use this method because the numbers are unreliable, the same thing you allude to. But id doe use the other two methods in tandem, for different parts of the economy. One is end value purchases and the other is what is produced. Between them they capture everything that is going on in the economy, even the grey market because purchases are measured. -

Border Run To Wang Prachan Malaysia
Just out of curiosity and following on from this, after having done a 60 day visa exempt and a 30 day extension at immigration, then doing a border run ( land or air) and obtaining a new 60 day visa exempt, can that then be extended by 30 days again at immigration? TBH it seems a rather large loophole if you can just carry on doing it! -

I wonder after he loses the election if he’s gonna still try and keep the grift going? I guess he’ll do the same thing that he did in 2020. He will say the election was stolen, he’ll start up a bunch of frivolous and baseless lawsuits in the courts, and he’ll ask his minions who voted for him to send him more money to “stop the steal” and to “make America goofy again”. 🤦🏻♂️ -

What time do you get up at?
I wish I could sleep longer, I try to put of going to bed as long as I can, say 11.30, but after I have eaten I get really tired, normally wake up just before 7am, and can't get back to sleep, if I'm lucky 7.30, if it's very overcast 8 - 8.30, even though my room has dark curtain's, raining helps me sleep, I think the latest I got up in a very long time was 8.40. I don't like to lay in bed awake, I'd rather make a coffee and retreat to my sofa. I'm 73, and I used to have early starts for work sometimes catching a 'red eye' flight 5.00am check in,... or truck driving with 3am starts. I thought I was in luxury one time when I got a job with an 8.30am start, most jobs I had were 7 - 7.30 starts, ...aged 15, I was starting work at 7.30am. had that job for 9 years. -

Who should I see for possible ME/CFS in Chiang Mai?
Hi Sheryl, I have and blood was fine but that was 8 months ago now. I'm primed to do another overall checkup but wanted to talk to a doctor first to see if there were any tests I should add. A thyroid test 2 weeks ago showed 0.82 free T4 with the minimum being 0.78. That's the lowest it's been. I have been taking Levothyroxine for 2 weeks and waiting to feel the effect. The doctor didn't think I needed it but I "convinced" her that it was worth trying the meds to see if it helped. My sister has Hashimoto's. I very often get swollen lymph nodes in my neck and a slight sore throat in the afternoon. Along with the fatigue. It's almost like clockwork. Feels like I am getting the flu. But I've learned to ignore it and carry on the best I can and by later in the evening the glands seem to get better. Reading about ME/CFS, they talk about such a thing. I also had dengue 15 years ago which perhaps could have been the trigger. I have always maintained I never felt quite the same after it. I will let you know if I find some info in CM. Thank you. -

It's not really wishful thinking though is it as there is no chance of an election to get rid of these clowns for another 4.5 years, and whoever follows this hypocritical tedious clown is going to be worse, probably a lot worse as they are a talentless bunch at best. Apparently the next targets on their list for "those with the broadest shoulders" is going to be the students, with a 13% increase in fees. It's almost as though they are determined to never govern again after seeing out this term. -

That would be a surprisingly low number, considering the "free for all" nature of this visa. If that's really true, Thailand seems to have lost much of its appeal for digital nomads, beyond the question of visas. -
